My Better Half......

At 6:50 pm on December 12, 1990 my better half came into this world. Many people wait their entire lives to meet their better half, but I had the privilege of mine being born exactly 20 minutes before me. Mary Lawrence Rawls came into my life and I have been blessed ever since. She has been the one to tell me to relax and on the occasion tell me to chill out and not be the boss (aka her mother). Mary has been mine best friend for 21 years.  I am beyond bless that God gave me my better half, a sister, a best friend for life, and an amazing individual that I have had the privilege to know for the past 21 years and watch grow into a spectacular Christian women. No matter who comes into our lives, I believe she will always be my better half, best friend, and an incredible individual. I love you Mary and Happy Birthday!!!!

This weekend I had the privilege of receiving my NCSU class ring. :) My parents, grandma, and Mary all came to the ceremony to support me. The ring ceremony was held at the beautiful alumni center on Centennial campus. There was lots of pictures taken but here are just a few......

Happy Birthday #3.....

November sure is a busy month for birthdays in this family, and this one is for Elizabeth Autry. She is the best big sister anyone could ask for. She has always been there for advice and guidance. She successfully lead Mary and I through Europe :) She is going to be a wonderful doctor come May 2012 :) I wish her all the best and a wonderful birthday!! I love you, Elizabeth!!

Today is the greatest man in the world's birthday....my Lawrence Rawls, aka my daddy! He has always been by number one supporter and the hardest working person I know. He has always been there for me from after school everyday to deciding what to do in college. He's State's biggest fan and the world's oldest kid, but I love him to death!!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!!!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of watching history when NCSU beat UNC for the FIFTH straight year in a row!! The game was amazing and what made it even better was I watched the game with friends from Prague. Chloe came home from Purdue for the game and we all met up with Sydney and her boyfriend for a little bit of tailgating and then it was off to the game. We all had a blast and the weather was perfect. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and good luck on any and all tests, paper, homework etc...!!!

Happy Birthday....

Today is the greatest women in the world's birthday! That would be my mother, Julie B. Rawls. She has been there for me through the highs and lows of life and I couldn't have asked for a better mother. She is constantly encouraging me to reach for my dreams, and giving me advice to reach those dreams. Through the years she has been my rock and probably the strongest woman I know. I love you Mama!!! Here is to a Happy Birthday and many many more to come!!!

The Fair and Graduate Papers

Hello Everyone!!! I hope everyone is having a great week! Just some quick updates in my life....the fair was in town last week so of course I had to go. I didn't try any unusual foods this year, but my Italian sausage was yummy! Amidst the excitement of the fair I also had a journal review paper due for my Graduate Health Economics class...so much fun haha. Football Season

Football Season is in full swing and that means football weather. Saturday the Wolfpack played Georgia Tech with the perfect football weather, as in jeans, boots, and a sweater! I love football weather! Sadly State couldn't pull off a win, but there's always next week. A group of us tailgated before the game with some hotdogs, chips, and cookies yummmmmmm. As football season gets going that also means midterm time (I know it came too fast this year), so for the next 2 days I will locked in D.H. Hill. Then it is Fall Break time, which means time to go home!!! They always seem to perfectly place fall break right when you need a break to survive the rest of the semester. The Race Has Begun....

Sorry for the month(s) or so absence I've been busy moving back to Raleigh, starting school again, and of course work. Now that the wonderful race of fall has begun, I have decided to try to begin blogging again now that I am in a routine with work, school, etc... The most recent happening in my life is a group of us that went to Prague this summer all got together for dinner Sunday night at a Czech restaurant in Cary....yes I said Cary, NC!! Hello Sun.......

This past weekend the family and I headed to the beach for a few days of sun and relaxation. We had a cute little visitor....Milly. She drove the boat:

The weekend was a amazing and full of fun, but one of the highlights besides seeing Milly was going to the midnight premier of Harry Part and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The movie was aswesome!!! It also marks sadly the end of an era (yes I'm one of those Harry Potter people). I hope everyone has a fabulous week and a great weekend.
