The Fair and Graduate Papers

Hello Everyone!!! I hope everyone is having a great week! Just some quick updates in my life....the fair was in town last week so of course I had to go. I didn't try any unusual foods this year, but my Italian sausage was yummy! Amidst the excitement of the fair I also had a journal review paper due for my Graduate Health Economics class...so much fun haha. So if anyone has any questions regarding payer-based health records please feel free to ask haha. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!! Happy Early Halloween!!!

Football Season

Football Season is in full swing and that means football weather. Saturday the Wolfpack played Georgia Tech with the perfect football weather, as in jeans, boots, and a sweater! I love football weather! Sadly State couldn't pull off a win, but there's always next week. A group of us tailgated before the game with some hotdogs, chips, and cookies yummmmmmm. As football season gets going that also means midterm time (I know it came too fast this year), so for the next 2 days I will locked in D.H. Hill. Then it is Fall Break time, which means time to go home!!! They always seem to perfectly place fall break right when you need a break to survive the rest of the semester. I hope everyone has a wonderful break and GOOD LUCK on all your midterms!!!!! Here are a few pics. from the tailgate......

Hello Sun.......

This past weekend the family and I headed to the beach for a few days of sun and relaxation. We had a cute little visitor....Milly. She drove the boat:

Isn't she cute:

After a ride in the boat Milly decided she wanted to go swimming:

The weekend was a amazing and full of fun, but one of the highlights besides seeing Milly was going to the midnight premier of Harry Part and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The movie was aswesome!!! It also marks sadly the end of an era (yes I'm one of those Harry Potter people). I hope everyone has a fabulous week and a great weekend.

The Last Week....

Its been a busy last week...we've had final projects, a trip to Terezin, and trying to fit in all those little things not checked off our lists yet. Last Friday a group of us decided to go to Terezin, which is about an hour outside of Prague. Terezin was a Jewish ghetto and labor camp during the Holocaust. The city had this eerie beauty about it that is hard to describe in words, you really felt like you had stepped back in time to a different era. Saturday was very relaxing, we walked around, went to Peterin Hill and enjoyed the city for one last weekend all together. Finally this week, which has been crazy!! We have all been making mad dashes to finish our final projects, for our exhibition tomorrow. Tomorrow is our final last get together, we have our exhibition in the morning and dinner as an entire program tomorrow night. Pictures to come later, but now its time to go enjoy this amazing city during these last fleeting moments...

Oh Berlin.....

This past weekend a few friends and I went on a little adventure to Berlin!! I'm in love with that city, its absolutely amazing with so many things to do. The first thing we did though was go on a bike tour (which I highly recommend), with Fat Tire Bike Tours. The tour was awesome, we hit all the major attractions in Berlin:
Replica of Checkpoint Charlie

Berlin Wall

Tv Tower

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Victory Column

Brandenburg Gate

Saturday was museum day, we went to the Bauhaus Museum and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews Museum. After getting lost a few times we finally made it to all our destinations. Berlin was absolutely amazing and I would definitely go back in a heart beat! Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!
